Welcome to GlobeTrotland, your ultimate travel blog for getaways and city breaks!
If you love exploring new destinations but don’t have weeks to spare, you’re in the right place. GlobeTrotland is all about maximizing your travel experiences in just a few days to a couple of weeks, whether it’s a weekend escape, a last-minute city break, or a well-deserved holiday.
My love for travel started when I was young. I spent my childhood road-tripping across Europe by car with my parents, discovering new places one journey at a time. Later, my studies took me even further as I spent a semester in Italy and lived in Spain for a few months during an internship, giving me the chance to experience these countries beyond just visiting.
Even in my work life, travel has followed me. I have had the chance to visit Belgium and the US for work, connecting with colleagues from both countries. Those experiences have only fueled my curiosity for new places and cultures.
As a French living in London with a Peruvian family-in-law, travel has remained a great part of my life. Since moving to London, I have explored even more, thanks to the city’s affordable flights and excellent airport connections. Living in such a diverse and multicultural place has also been a huge source of travel inspiration. In London, you meet people from all over the world, hear their stories, and get insider travel tips before even setting foot in a new destination. Now, as a parent, I’m also learning the joys and challenges of traveling with a young child.
While I have a strong connection to France, the UK, and Peru, my passion for travel extends worldwide. From European city breaks and tropical beach escapes to budget-friendly travel tips, I share practical advice, destination guides, and real travel experiences to help you plan unforgettable trips. Whether you’re searching for the best weekend getaways, family-friendly destinations, or travel hacks for short trips, you’ll find plenty of travel inspiration here.
